John Penterics began farming here in 1957, and then established Penn Acres Grain in 1980 with his son David. Dave Penterics is now the owner and operator of Penn Acres Grain Inc. Penn Acres Grain is not only a working elevator, buying, storing, and selling corn, beans, and wheat but has also for the past 18 years expanded into the alternative heating business, supplying their customers with wood, corn and pellet stoves, indoor forced air systems as well as outdoor and indoor boilers. Penn Acres offers full service and installation of all units. We offer a variety of fuel choices to burn in our units. Delivery services are available for the fuel sources offered.
